Learn to Knit Mittens
My basic mitten class is TONIGHT from 6-8pm!
Tree trimmers are gone. Replacement entertainment was watching a big hawk in the woods behind our house nab a squirrel and fly off. Onlooking cardinals seemed pleased. (Because of less competition for the birdseed, maybe?) A blue jay fluttered about, obviously affected by small bird syndrome.

For some reason...
today’s 30 minute run on the treadmill took nine and a half hours.
Confession: I think Christmas trees are strange. I mean, sure, I get the whole history behind of them. But just the idea, to bring a (possibly spider-filled) tree into your home, throw a bunch of junk on it and light it? Just creeps me out a little.
Today is my favorite day of the year, the day when I put away all the Christmas stuff!
